Melting Moments Cake

Finding a cake recipe amidst the research was always pleasant feeling....for little one's tiffin, it really comes in handy.

Kalyani &  Mirielle gave me a lot of reasons to bake cakes off late with their generous goodies....

Melting moments as the name suggests is a melt in your mouth rich soft cake. The taste can be little starchy for some, but it gets camouflaged when we drip some syrup

Ingredients
2 cups corn starch
1.25 cups butter
1 cup castor sugar
1 egg
1 tspn baking powder
1 tspn vanilla essence
Method
1) Beat the butter and sugar until it is light and fluffy.
2) In another bowl, beat the egg lightly.
3) Mix the baking powder with corn starch and sift it once
4) Now add a few tspns of egg and corn starch mixture alternately to the butter mixture.
5) This will be a relatively non runny dough. You may add the vanilla essence or any other essence of yoru c
