Swirl Brownies

Every beginning has an end but as long as it ends on a sweet note there is always a hope to start a new journey

My oven tried working overtime this month to bring you some of the best baked dishes we could make...

The final recipe that I share is something I have tried after seeing a variety of dishes. I think you can easily club two batters of different colours and make this patterned cake of your choice.

Ingredients
2 tbsp APF
2 tbsp icing sugar
1 egg/ 2 tbsp cornflour mixed in 1 tbsp cream
1 tspn vanilla extract

Method
1) Grease a square 10x10 inch pan and dust with some flour
2) Pour the brownie batter, reserving a couple of spoonfuls
3) In another bowl, beat the mascarpone cheese with icing sugar and egg
4) Add the APF and vanilla extract and beat until it is all smooth
5) Pour this on top of the brownie batter
6) Add the reserved brownie batter using a spoon at different spots
7) Using the spoon, just draw patterns of swirls on the white batter
8) Bake this in preheated oven at 180c for 20 -25 min
9) Let it stand and cool down
10) Cut carefully into small squares
