Zambian Tea Time Meal

BM # 44   Today's halt  Zambia

A journey has to end with memories to cherish for life, and our virtual trip around the world ends with plenty of them with 25 friends lugging around with their bags of good recipes.

For Z I chose the Zambia which felt like a distant lost cousin in the african land with recipes tweaked using local ingredients

The recipes I chose are Golab Jamoun , Beans Akara, Tomato Peanut Relish and Pineapple chutney.

Tomato and peanut relish is common in almost every peanut eating culture but this one is so basic that it truly enhances the flavors of the key ingredients that compliment each other too...read this for recipe

Golab jamoun are actually something like unleavened donuts, with natural sugars. These were enjoyed by my son....read this for recipe
