Nepali Salad with fresh vegetables and black sesame seeds

You can use any vegetables keeping in mind that traditional Nepal does not have the variety we are used to in urban cities. The trick is the dressing which is simple flavors. You can also add roasted peanuts.









Ingredients
1 cup fresh vegetables for salad (cucumber, cabbage, carrots, onions, tomatoes)
for dressing
1 tspn red chilli powder
1 tspn cumin seeds powder
1 tspn coriander powder
1 tspn turmeric powder
1 tspn mustard seeds powder (roasted)
1 tbsp black sesame seeds toasted
2 tbsp Olive Oil
Salt and Black pepper to taste
1/2 cup roasted peanuts (optional)
Method
1) Use vegetables of your choice and cut them as per your liking.
2) In a bowl mix the dressing ingredients and pour it over the chopped vegetables.

Before serving add more sesame seeds on the top

First of all, I love love love that kadai! Must look for it the next time I go prop hunting.And next loving that salad mainly coz it has sesame seeds...
