Belgian Hot Chocolate
Hot chocolate is a popular beverage often used to lift the mood on a cold wintery evening. And why not when you get the best brand of chocolate locally in Belgium Try making it this way and top it with some whipped cream.
Ingredients
1/2 cup chopped dark chocolate (belgian caleabaut)
1/4 cup chopped milk chocolate
2 cups full fat cream milk
1 tspn sugar (optional)
Method
1) In a pan heat the milk and sugar. Do not let it boil over but it should be warm enough
2) In a large cup, add the chocolate pieces (3:1) dark and milk both.
3) Pour a couple of tspn warm milk and stir it gently for the chocolate to melt in
4) Once it is fully melted, gradually add the rest of the milk. Pour from top if you prefer froth.
Serve warm, stir in a cinnamon stick if you like.
