Belgian Breakfast
Our next destination is the beautiful country of Belgium...a country I loved to visit. The smaller lanes I am told are similar to the french streets but it has an older world charm. The country is famous for many things the cheese, chocolates and tarts. Back in India people may know the country as the diamond hub...I remember visiting one such beautiful shop that kept some exquisite diamonds...coming down to the food, although I tasted things similar to what we get in whole of Europe, I spotted the belgian fries which are lesser popular but more tastier. They are served across all kind of shops and streets wrapped in take away packages.
When I began my research for the mega marathon, I had made up my mind to cover the countries I had the pleasure of visiting in person, but when it came to Belgium I was so lost finding that one authentic recipe...after a bit of study I found the perfect breakfast which my family devoured
