Maharashtrian (w)Rap / Bhakri Zunka Wrap

This is my all time favorite wrap, which satiates the palate and heart equally...I would think of it as an amalgamation of old world charm and new age sophistication. Where is the time to sit down for a hearty meal with family absorbing the good vibes while conversing ...infact, i feel this was not the case even in my childhood, as having born and bred in busy city like mumbai, such times are only hearsay stories from both parents. As far as I can remember, I have always been on the go...this makes this recipe even more better as I can quickly wrap it for both me and hubby for times when we both anticipate lack of lunch time...Even if your life is not as hectic as mine I suggest you try this way of eating the regular bhakri and zunka...I am making this recipe public for the first of my series in this week's blogging marathon theme - Wraps / Rolls

Ingredients
1 cup Zunka or Pitla
1/2 cup chopped spring onions
1 -2 tspn clarified butter/ ghee
1 tspn Red Chilly/Garlic paste (Thecha)

Method
1) Roast the Bhakri with some ghee on a griddle
2) Spread some thecha on the bhakri
3) Place a spoonful of zunka and spread it evenly
4) Sprinkle some chopped spring onions.
5) Wrap it and serve with curd based dip if you like

You can also substitute the zunka with baingan bharta, or any mushy vegetable of your choice
