Gold Coins (Stars and hearts)

So most of you might be aware of the regular gold coins which is a popular starter recipe. I usually do not make it often , coz am personally not very fond of it. I like the recipe, but I think it is pretty unhealthy the way it is made....potatoes, bread, deep frying ..

So not giving up I decided to make some changes...

Also..it works well with kids when we can be a little creative. For the second day..of BM 21 I made these cuties..

Ingredients

10 bread slices (white or brown)
1 cup crumbled paneer
1 tspn garam masala
1 tspn ginger-green chilli paste
salt to taste
2 -3 tspn white sesame seeds
Oil to fry
Method
1) Mix the paneer with ginger -chilli paste, salt, garam masala.
2) Cut the bread slices in shapes you desire.
3) Cover the slices with the paneer mixture. Press it hard  so that it sticks to the base.
4) Sprinkle the sesame seeds on top
5) Deep fry in oil and serve with sauce or chutney

I toasted the bread slices after cutting them and shallow fried it later on a pan.

If the paneer is dry, then mix it with a spoon of olive oil.
