Chapati Pizza Leftover Makeover

You don't have to always discard the leftovers. There are better ways to recycle them. Well it is not uncommon in indian households to give this treatment to most food items.

Infact many times, the makeover is better then the leftover itself.

Considering that I have a nextGen body roaming in the house, my makeovers have to be really interesting.

After making the khakras and chivdas of the chapatis I moved on to make this version. This is so looked forward to by nephew and kid that we often make it using the fresh chapati. Especially as they are very young to consume any bacteria laden leftovers. (*Disclaimer- My leftovers are food items to be consumed the same day at the next meal, like lunch leftovers to be eaten by snack time or dinner max. Dinner leftovers, sit in refrigerator overnite and are used up for breakfast or discarded)

  Ingredients
3-4 Flat Phulkas
3 tbsp grated cheese (cheddar/ gouda/mozarella)
2 tbsp Tomato Ketchup/ Hot and Spicy

a pinch of italian mixed herbs
salt and pepper to taste

Method
1) Mix the ketchup with the herbs and spread on the chapati / phulka.
2) Bake in microwave for 2 min on high power until the cheese melts.
3)Top it with salt and pepper and serve.

You can also add vegetables if you wish to make it a proper meal. The thin crust pizza will be devoured in no time.
