Stuffed green chilly peppers

The monsoons are long gone…finally! This year they definitely overstayed so much that I had to pray for them to leave.
But after that , I saw this green chilly peppers – the mirch pakodi/ bhajia types sitting in my fridge. I was in no mood to make deep fried bhajia on a hot day. So I decided to make stuffed peppers and this time a little healthier. No frying – deep or shallow.

Ingredients (for 2-3)
4 green chilly peppers
3 medium potatoes boiled and peeled
1 tspn chilly powder
1 tspn chat masala
½ tspn garam masala
1 tbsp chopped coriander
salt to taste
Oil for brushing
Method
1) Wash and slit the peppers on one side .Remove the seeds and membranes .
2) Mash the potatoes in a separate bowl and add chilly powder, chat masala, garam masala, coriander  and salt and mix well.
3) Stuff this mixture in the chilly peppers.
4) Use a grill and heat it. Brush the green sides of the peppers with oil and place it on the grill. Watch out as the skin will start soring and popping up.
5) Turn around until all sides of the chilly appears blistered.
Serve as a side dish or stuff in tortilla or roti
